A STORM surge warning has been issued for Hurricane Florence with more than 1.5million people ordered to evacuate as the Category 4 storm barrels towards the US Atlantic coast. ✔ Florence, the most powerful hurricane to threaten the Carolinas in decades, is packing winds of 140mph (220kph) ✔ At least 250,000 more people are due to be evacuated from the northern Outer Banks in North Carolina today after more than 50,000 people were ordered on Monday to leave Hatteras and Ocracoke, the southernmost of the state's barrier islands
