AT 29, I’m lucky that I’ve managed to check off everything on the life list I’d hoped to achieve: a successful career in digital journalism, sharing a home with the man of my dreams and enjoying an active and exciting social life. Never did I expect to not only fall severely ill with meningitis this summer and now need a wheelchair but also have to experience disgusting treatment from travel firms as they seemingly fight to exclude disabled passengers. ✔ With things like ensuring they are safe and comfortable, documents give information about booking assistance and what else to expect ✔ The problem of how to treat disabled members of society won’t stop until these struggles become the minority and not the majority
