But in certain areas of life, there is an undeniable appeal to having the bigg… ✔ SIZE doesn’t matter, or so my wife tells me, usually with a sympathetic smile ✔ Even so, Nissan’s move is a clever one it’s big enough for bragging rights but not so big it will put people off ✔ But the headline figure is a claimed MPG of up to 68.9 ✔ If anything, the surprise is that it hasn’t come sooner
Tesla needs over $1 billion in cash over the next 6 months, and Wall Street is going nuts figuring out where it's going to come from
10/14/2018, 2:24:07 AMTesla has over a billion in debt payments to make through March of 2019, but it also has yet to turn a profit making its new Model 3 cars. Tesla is too big to fail —but not for the reason you might think
10/13/2018, 1:22:32 PMTesla survived the summer and Musk settled with the SEC just in time to witness the UN issue its most dire warnings about global warming to date. If we have only until 2040 to drastically reduce the warming trend, we can't afford to lose Tesla and the potentially millions of electric-vehicles it cou ✔ Of course, we have to start now, and we can't afford to lose Tesla's footprint ✔ The only other successful EVs on sale at the moment are the Chevy Bolt and the Nissan Leaf, and while they're selling OK, they aren't matching Tesla's impact ✔ This column does not necessarily reflect the opinion of Business Insider
